New Information Security Courses for Payment Card Industry Employees

For 2018, the Corporate Information Security Office has introduced a series of mandatory online training courses to help employees working in the Payment Card Industry (PCI) environment to secure employee, supplier, and customer data. Employees will be auto-enrolled in the PCI courses they are required to complete and can access them on the Human Resources HERO system (usps.csod.com):

n Postmasters, postmaster relief employees, sales and service associates, lead sales and service associates, and business mail entry clerks who perform credit and debit card transactions at any time must take Protecting Payment Cardholder Data: Everyone’s Responsibility, Retail Associate Training (Course #10006255) before September 21, 2018.

n Clerks, supervisors, and contractors who handle or process credit and debit card transactions must take Protecting Payment Card Information: Back Office Training (Course #10006254) before September 21, 2018.

n PCI system, network, and database administrators, and contractors who handle or process credit and debit card information, must take PCI Administrator Security Awareness Training (Course #10026252) before September 21, 2018.

Note: Managers of contractors who handle or process credit and debit card information are responsible for requesting access to these courses for additional contractor(s) by emailing CyberSafeComms@usps.gov.
