Effective March 28, 2019, the Postal Service™ is revising the Individual Country Listing for Dominica in Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®) to note that Dominica is prohibiting lithium batteries and aerosols, as well as requesting the inclusion of both the addressee’s and sender’s contact information on all mail items.
These revisions are based on formal requests that Dominica Postal Service made through the Universal Postal Union via the following International Bureau Circulars (IBCs):
n IBC 156, dated November 5, 2018 (prohibiting lithium batteries and aerosols).
n IBC 133, dated September 24, 2018 (requesting the inclusion of both the addressee’s and sender’s contact information).
