Effective May 23, 2019, the Postal Service™ is revising the International Country Listing for Saudi Arabia in Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®) to note that Saudi Arabia is imposing a 5-percent value-added tax (VAT) on all items containing goods.
This revision is based on a formal request that Saudi Post Corporation made through the Universal Postal Union via International Bureau Circular 102, dated August 6, 2018.
