IMM Revision: Individual Country Listing for Ukraine

Effective August 1, 2019, the Postal Service™ is revising the International Country Listing for Ukraine in Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®) to note the duty-free limits for Ukraine.

This revision is based on a formal request that Stock Company Ukrposhta made through the Universal Postal Union via International Bureau Circular 102, dated June 17, 2019.

Observations

[Revise item 1 to read as follows:]

1. Goods that are mailed in one dispatch from one sender to a private individual and that have a value of 100 EUR or less are not subject to customs charges. For legal entities or individual entrepreneurs, the tax-free limit is 150 EUR for goods sent from one sender to one addressee in one dispatch. Shipments that exceed these limits are subject to a 10-percent import duty and a 20-percent value-added tax.

Although effective on August 1, 2019, the Postal Service will incorporate this revision into the next edition of the online IMM, which is available via Postal Explorer® at pe.usps.com.
