IMM Revision: Individual Country Listing for Chile

Effective September 12, 2019, the Postal Service™ is revising the Individual Country Listing for Chile in Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®) to note that Chile requires a phytosanitary certificate for seeds.

This revision is based on a formal request that Correos de Chile made through the Universal Postal Union via International Bureau Circular 129, dated August 5, 2019.

[Replace the text with a new entry to read as follows:]

Seeds are required to be accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate. A U.S. mailer must obtain the phytosanitary certificate from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS).
