Effective April 9, 2020, the Postal Service™ is revising Handbook EL-380, Postal Career Executive Service, part 543, “Executive Recognition Awards,” to include cash and non-cash awards that are available to Postal Service executives. The change is to reflect a comprehensive list of awards that may be issued at the discretion of USPS® officers.

A program that provides for cash and non-cash awards has been developed to recognize extraordinary individual contributions by executives. These awards are coordinated through Compensation and Benefits, and include the following categories:
n Board of Governors’ Award (for officers only).
n Postmaster General’s Award.
n Deputy Postmaster General’s Award.
n Chief Operating Officer’s Award.
n PCES Superior Achievement.
n PCES Non-Cash Award.
n Executive Leadership Team Cash Award.
These awards may be processed through the eAwards system or manually by the Eagan Accounts Payable team.
