Effective September 1, 2020, the United States Postal Service® will no longer offer Dual-Use Priority Mail Express®/Priority Mail® Boxes 1 and 2.
Dual-Use Priority Mail Express/Priority Mail boxes were created to allow customers the option to mail their packages either as Priority Mail Express or Priority Mail. The boxes also helped customers to reduce the space needed to store the packaging at their location. Analysis conducted on the volumes of both boxes shipped by customers indicated that they were shipped Priority Mail over 95 percent of the time versus Priority Mail Express.
