Discontinuance of the Priority Mail Gift Card Flat Rate Envelope

The United States Postal Service® introduced the Priority Mail® Gift Card Flat Rate Envelope (EP14GT) in 2010. After conducting a return on investment analysis, the Postal Service™ decided to discontinue further production of this envelope.

Currently, the Priority Mail Gift Card Flat Rate Envelope (EP14GT) is available at The Postal Store® website (store.usps.com/store/home) in packs of 2 and 5 at no charge. The Priority Mail Gift Card Flat Rate Envelope (Dimensions: 10” L x 7” W) was designed with a special pocket to hold a greeting card and a gift card in a Priority Mail Flat Rate envelope as a customer convenience.

The recommended alternative option for the discontinued Priority Mail Gift Card Flat Rate Envelope (EP14GT) is

the Priority Mail Small Flat Rate Envelope (EP14B). The Priority Mail Small Flat Rate Envelope (EP14B) (Dimensions: 10” L x 6” W) is available for customers to order in packs of 10 at store.usps.com/store/home. The Priority Mail Small Flat Rate Envelope (EP14B) has the same construction and physical integrity as the Priority Mail Gift Card Flat Rate Envelope (EP14GT), as well as similar dimensions.

The Priority Mail Gift Card Flat Rate Envelope (EP14GT) will remain available at store.usps.com/store/home while supplies last. Customers who use these envelopes are encouraged to place their orders before supplies are depleted.

If you have any questions about the discontinuance of the Priority Mail Gift Card Flat Rate Envelope (EP14GT), send an email to Expeditedpackaging@usps.gov.
