Effective December 2, 2021, the Postal Service™ is revising the International Country Listing for Canada in Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®) to note revisions to the listing of restrictions.
Theses revisions are based on a formal request that Canada Post (the designated postal operator of Canada) made through email consultation dated October 1, 2021.

[Revise the entry that begins with “Coins” to read as follows (also removing the note about “Exceptions”):]
Coins; banknotes; currency notes; securities payable to bearer; traveler’s checks; gold, silver, platinum, manufactured or not; precious stones; jewelry; and other valuable articles may be sent only in insured parcels.
