Threats to digital information are growing in frequency and sophistication worldwide. Protecting USPS® employee, customer, and supplier data from these threats is a priority for the Postal Service™. Everyone has a role to play in protecting this data.
It’s time for business system owners to do their part to protect critical Postal Service data by completing mandatory, annual CyberSafe Assessment and Authorization (A&A) training. The deadline for completing the course is August 15, 2022.
The FY 22 CyberSafe A&A training course provides employees with information on the policies and standards used to protect information within Postal Service networks. In addition, employees will learn roles and responsibilities, as well as the Risk Management process as it relates to the A&A process.
Business system owners can access the course now through HERO at usps.csod.com/LMS/catalog/Welcome.aspx.
If you have already taken the FY 22 training, HERO has automatically provided an equivalency credit. You should see the course in your completed training transcript.
Employees and contractors who do not meet the deadline are subject to limited ACE system access until all courses are completed.
For more information, visit the CyberSafe training page on Blue at blue.usps.gov/cyber/training.htm. For questions or comments, send an email to CyberSafeComms@usps.gov.
