IMM Revision: Individual Country Listing for the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

Effective July 28, 2022, the Postal Service™ is revising the Individual Country Listing for the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®) as follows:

n Add a prohibition for human and animal remains.

n Remove the restriction relating to human and animal remains.

These revisions are based on a consultation with Royal Mail (the designated operator of United Kingdom) and Global Business on July 6, 2022.

Although effective July 28, 2022, the Postal Service will incorporate these revisions into the next edition of the online IMM, which is available via Postal Explorer® at pe.usps.com.
