As of November 17, 2022, the Material Distribution Center (MDC) will no longer stock the 12/21 edition for Leave Year 2022. All orders received at the MDC on or after November 17, 2022, will get the 11/22 edition for Leave Year 2023. However, the 12/21 edition will be available for individual printing from the Postal Service PolicyNet website throughout 2023.
The revised PS Form 3972 is available on the PolicyNet website (as is the edition dated December 2021 for Leave Year 2022):
n Go to blue.usps.gov.
n In the left-hand column, click Essential Links, and then click PolicyNet.
n Go to the right-hand side under “Published Forms and Directives,” click Forms, and then click on the range 3000–3999.
n Scroll down to the form entry and click the PDF icon.
