Effective May 4, 2023, the Postal Service™ is revising the Individual Country Listing for Kuwait in Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®) to add an observation to include certain addressee contact information when mailing items to Kuwait.
This revision is based on a formal request that Kuwait Ministry of Communications (the designated postal operator of Kuwait) made through the Universal Postal Union via International Bureau Circular 50, dated March 27, 2023.

Display both the addressee’s landline number and mobile telephone number (if possible) and email address (if available) on the address label or customs form of each item mailed to Kuwait.
