Procedures When You Fail to Make a Request If you do not request either a hearing by the EEOC or a merit final agency decision by the Postal Service, you will receive a merit final agency decision by the Postal Service within 60 calendar days of the end of the 30–day period that you were given to respond to the notice explaining your options.
