Directives are documents that contain statements of policy or procedure meant to guide Headquarters, field organizations, or the public. They make available the types of information the Postal Service needs to manage for legal, contractual, and business purposes; and include handbooks, headquarters circulars, kits, labels, management instructions, manuals, notices, the Postal Bulletin, posters, publications, signs, and tags.
Chapter 2 lists directives numerically by document identifier. There is also a list of directives that are free to the public.
