5-2.2 Data Description

PS Form 2729-A has spaces for the user to add the following variable data:

1. Origin: three-letter identifier of origin city.
2. Route: air carrier alpha/numeric code.
3. Trip: numeric code.
4. Equipment: equipment code of aircraft.
5. Date: date of dispatch.
6. Serial No.: unique serial number for each form.
7. Destination 1: three-letter code of hub/destination point.
8. Destination 2: three-letter code of destination beyond Destination 1.
9. Route 2: air carrier code for transport beyond Destination 1.
10. Trip 2: flight number of trip beyond Destination 1.
11. Equipment 2: equipment code of aircraft transporting beyond Destination 1.
12. Priority Weight: priority rate service mail weight in whole numbers.
13. Non-Priority Weight: non-priority rate service mail weight in whole numbers.
14. USPS Name: printed name of dispatching official.
15. USPS Signature: signature of dispatching official.
16. Date: date signed by dispatching official.
17. Carrier Name: air carrier/agent printed name.
18. Carrier Signature: signature of air carrier/agent.
19. Date: date signed by air carrier/agent.
