SOSO, MS — The Soso Post Office, located at 1036 Highway 28 W, will resume all operations at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2020. The office was temporarily suspended on April 13, 2020, after the building suffered extensive tornado damage.

A temporary trailer was set up in the parking lot to provide retail and Post Office Box services during the temporary suspension.

Retail hours at the Soso Post Office are 8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Saturday, closed Sunday.

We appreciate the patience of our Soso customers, as we sought to recover from the initial event and restore service as quickly as possible.

The Postal Service does not receive tax dollars for its operations or facilities, but covers costs solely through the revenue received from the sale of its products and services.
