Dexter, MI, Postmaster Robert Ridenour took the checkered flag in Race 2 of the Business Connect Race2Miami contest. He wins a trip for two to Miami, including VIP tickets to the final NASCAR race in Homestead, FL, next month.
During Race 2, postmasters and station managers were asked to conduct at least five Business Connect activities and to base at least two of those activities on direct mail. Ridenour conducted 10 visits — seven relating to direct mail — generating more than $1,200 in new sales during that time frame.
The Race2Miami contest is designed to encourage postmasters and managers to participate in Business Connect and to generate revenue for the Postal Service.
