Business Connect “4 Seasons of Success” Contest Kit: Quarter 2, Winter FY 2008

The Business Connect™ Contest for Quarter 2, Winter FY 2008, runs from January 1, 2008, to March 31, 2008. Quarter 2 is focused on using USPS.com^® as a resource to help contestants make five Business Connect activities to demonstrate to customers the convenience of doing business at www.usps.com/business and to make customers aware of how simple shipping can be with our flat-rate envelopes and flat-rate boxes, which can be used to promote both domestic and international packages.

The Business Connect Kit for Quarter 2 includes the following materials:

Letter to Postmasters, Station and Branch Managers, and Supervisors (see Exhibit 1, page 35), which is a message from the chief marketing officer describing the promotional materials.
Business Connect Contest Guide (see Exhibit 2, page 36), which describes the Quarter 2 contest. This Guide provides tips to prepare an effective presentation of www.usps.com/business and flat-rate packaging, which can be used to promote both domestic and international packages.
Shipping and Mailing Guide (see Exhibit 3, pages+ 36–37), which is a multipanel promotional brochure that can be left behind with customers. The brochure highlights key products and services of the Postal Service™ designed specifically for small businesses.

The Business Connect Kit for Quarter 2 can be downloaded from the Business Connect Resource Center at http://blue.usps.gov/marketing/businessconnect/welcome.htm. Also at that site, participants who have access to the Business Connect Data Center can order additional copies of the Shipping and Mailing Guide — click on Go to Business Connect Data Center/Reports and then, once logged in, click on Order Supplies.
