The United States Postal Inspection Service® (USPIS®) has revised Poster 702, Dangerous Goods Warning Labels Prohibited in International Mail, to display the new Department of Transportation (DOT) lithium battery marks and add a reference to ORM-D markings, which are limited to domestic mail. Employees can use Poster 702 and other USPIS posters and materials to help customers determine if their package meets Postal Service™, DOT, and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations.
Revised Poster 702, dated March 2018, will be available to order from the Material Distribution Center (MDC) through eBuy2. Use the following information to order Poster 702:
