National Women’s Health Week, a time to encourage women to lead healthier lives, is May 12–19. The U.S. Office on Women’s Health helps organize the week, which calls on women of all ages to:
n Be active,
n Eat healthy,
n Take care of their mental health, and
n Seek regular checkups from a doctor.
The Wellness team is encouraging Postal Service™ employees to take time to educate themselves and the women in their lives about important health topics. Since heart disease is a leading cause of death for women in the United States, start by learning the signs of a heart attack by watching this video: liteblue.usps.gov/humanresources/benefits/health-wellness/wellness-videos/hrw15.shtml.
