Effective July 1, 2021, the Postal Service™ is revising the Administrative Support Manual to indicate the line of succession for the Postmaster General for the duration of an emergency to reflect the recent organizational restructuring.

286.1 Postmaster General
[Revise the text of 286.1 to read as follows:]
Effective immediately, if the Postmaster General is incapacitated due to an enemy attack or other national emergency, the following is the line of succession to perform the duties of the Postmaster General for the duration of the emergency:
a. Deputy Postmaster General and Chief Human Resources Officer.
b. Chief Retail and Delivery Officer and Executive Vice President.
c. Chief Logistics and Processing Operations Officer and Executive Vice President.
d. Vice President, Area Retail and Delivery Operations, Western Pacific.
