Effective February 24, 2022, the Postal Service™ is revising the Individual Country Listing for Egypt in Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®) to note additional prohibited items and revisions.
These revisions are based on a formal request that Egypt Post (the designated operator of Egypt) made through the Universal Postal Union via International Bureau Circular 157, dated October 18, 2021, and International Bureau Circular 2, dated January 10, 2022.

Although effective February 24, 2022, the Postal Service will incorporate these revisions into the next edition of the online IMM, which is available via Postal Explorer® at pe.usps.com.
