Destination entry

The start-the-clock event is Saturday when a mailer enters or deposits Standard Mail at a destination network distribution center (NDC), a destination auxiliary service facility (ASF), a destination sectional center facility (SCF) or a destination delivery unit (DDU) on Saturday.

Standard Mail entered at a destination NDC will be processed and transported from that NDC within one day, processed and transported at an ADC within one day and transported to a destination SCF within one day. Standard Mail will then be processed at the SCF, transported to the DDU and delivered within two days.

Standard Mail entered at a SCF will be processed and transported to a DDU within one day. Standard mail will then be delivered from the DDU within two days.
