USPS Resumes Mail Delivery, Retail Operations

Eagle River Retail Operations Remain Suspended

ANCHORAGE --- Alaska Postal officials have resumed operations across the Anchorage area with most retail and delivery operations operating as normal.

However, retail operations Eagle River Office, 99577, will be temporarily suspended until further notice.

Additionally, the Muldoon office and Wasilla will have limited retail and mail pickup services Saturday.

Customers should consult usps.com to find alternate locations to mail for their products and services.

“I am proud of how our employees have risen to the occasion,” said Alaska District Manager Ron Haberman. “Many of them are personally affected by the earthquake, and yet they are displaying great commitment to our customers and the mail that is so important this Holiday season.”

Future facility decisions after consulting with emergency management officials and structural engineers.
