Postal Service Advises Kipnuk and Kwigillingok Customers on Change of Address Procedures Following Typhoon Halong

ALASKA — The U.S. Postal Service remains committed to ensuring uninterrupted mail service for our customers, even amid the recent flooding that has impacted delivery operations in Kipnuk, AK, and Kwigillingok, AK. To support affected residents, we encourage those needing to redirect their mail to submit a Change of Address request.

For customers displaced by flooding and currently staying in Anchorage shelters: Please visit the Eagan Center Mail Unit, located on the 2nd floor at 555 West 5th Avenue in downtown Anchorage. Temporary Change of Address forms are available on-site and can be completed there.

Mail for displaced residents is being directed to the Eagan Center Mail Unit and is available for pickup daily between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Elevator access is available.

For customers staying with family or friends:

  • In Person: You may visit any Post Office to complete a Temporary Change of Address form using the current mailing address of your temporary residence.
  • Online: Customers can easily submit a Change of Address request through the USPS website at usps.com. Navigate to the "Change of Address" section and follow the prompts.
