Seeking Holiday Clerk and Carrier Assistants throughout Alaska
The green and bright holiday season is on its way, and the Postal Service is looking for holiday clerk and carrier assistants to help sort and deliver mail and packages. We are looking to fill temporary holiday positions with eager elves in post offices throughout Alaska. On the job training will be provided and there is no experience required.
These assignments will only be through December 2025. Pay is $27.73 for Holiday Clerks per hour and Holiday Carriers rate is $27.44 per hour. (This includes T-COLA).

Applicants must be 18 years of age and be able to pass a criminal background check. Although in some instances, interested candidates can also be 16 with a high school diploma. Applicants must also be available to work weekends and holidays. Driving positions must have a valid state driver’s license, a safe driving record, and at least two years of unsupervised experience driving passenger cars or larger.
