Piedmont, AL — Retail services have resumed at the Piedmont, AL, Post Office, 111 E Ladiga St, Piedmont, AL 36272-1735, as of 1:15 p.m. today. Earlier this week the U.S. Postal Service temporarily suspended retail operations, due to unforeseen facility issues.
As of July 3, customers will no longer need to travel to the nearby Spring Garden Post Office, 1325 County Road 29, Piedmont, AL 36275-2000, to conduct retail transactions.
During the temporary suspension, the Piedmont, AL Post Office Box lobby remained accessible for customers to pick up their Post Office Box mail 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Piedmont residents continued to receive regular mail delivery during the temporary suspension.
The Postal Service appreciates its customers and apologizes for any inconvenience that may have been experienced.
