Mount Meigs, AL — The Mount Meigs Post Office, 100 Old Pike Rd, Mount Meigs, AL 36057 will be open for retail transactions until 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 30, and then will close due to the non-renewal of a lease.

Customers are encouraged to conduct business transactions at the Pike Road Post Office at 1320 Pike Rd, Pike Road, AL, conveniently located less than a mile from the Mount Meigs Post Office. Pike Road Post Office hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Saturday, 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. The Pike Road Post Office is closed on Sunday.

Earlier this week, Post Office Boxes were moved from the Mount Meigs Post Office to the Pike Road Post Office.

Customers may call 1-800-ASK-USPS or visit the Postal Service’s website, usps.com, for locations of additional nearby Post Offices and approved postal retail service providers. Customers also may use a Self-Service Kiosk (SSK) available at select Post Offices. This ATM-like kiosk, which accepts debit and credit cards only, can handle 80 percent of the transactions conducted at the retail counter.
