Luverne, AL Post Office Resumes Operations

Luverne, AL — Effective Wednesday, August 21, the Luverne, AL Post Office at 29 E 3rd Street, Luverne, AL 36049-9998 will resume operations. The Post Office temporarily had suspended operations due to flooding from a burst pipe last month.

Customers may conduct retail transactions, including purchasing stamps and mailing packages, during the following hours of operation:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday    8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Thursday and Saturday                           8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

The Luverne Post Office is closed on Sunday.

Customers also may resume picking up their Post Office Box mail during the above hours.

The U.S. Postal Service apologizes to its customers for any inconvenience during the temporary suspension.
