USPS Temporarily Suspends Munford PO Operations

Munford, AL — The Alabama-Mississippi District of the U.S. Postal Service is announcing a temporary suspension of postal operations at the Munford Post Office at 33 Cedars Rd, Munford, AL 36268. The temporary suspension, due to non-renewal of the lease, is effective immediately.

Customers may conduct retail transactions, including purchasing stamps and mailing packages, at the Oxford Post Office at 90 Plaza Lane, Oxford, AL 36203. Retail hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., and Saturday, 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. The Oxford Post Office is closed on Sunday.

With proper identification, Munford customers may pick up their Post Office Box mail during regular hours of operation at the Oxford Post Office. Customers with regular street delivery may pick up packages and other accountable items as well.

Delivery service is not affected and will continue uninterrupted. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
