Odenville, AL — The U.S. Postal Service is considering relocating the retail services provided at the Odenville, AL Main Post Office, 17 Burgess Drive, Odenville, AL 35120 to a new, yet-to-be determined location, as close as reasonably possible to the existing Post Office location, potentially within a one-mile radius.
The new location will ensure that adequate and affordable postal services are as efficient and economical as possible.
Until a new location is identified and announced, customers may continue conducting retail transactions, including mailing letters and shipping packages, at the Odenville Main Post Office. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The post office is closed on Sunday.
Individuals who live and/or work in Odenville, AL recently were mailed a postcard which gives them an opportunity to share their opinions through July 14, 2025, which is the deadline to provide comments. The postcards should be mailed to:

After the comment period, the Postal Service will consider the comments received. Following that consideration, the Postal Service will make a final decision to proceed with, modify, or cancel the proposal.
