Osceola, AR, has a New Postmaster

Tenisha Jackson

OSCEOLA, AR — Tenisha Jackson has been selected as the new Postmaster of Osceola, AR.

Jackson started her postal career in 2018 as a City Carrier Assistant in Blytheville, AR. She also served as Supervisor, Customer Services, before her assignment to the Postmaster position.

In her role, Jackson oversees 24 employees providing retail services and delivering to Osceola residents on six city routes and six rural routes.

In 2021, the United States Postal Service published an ambitious but achievable 10-year strategic plan, Delivering for America. The plan established a path to building a Postal Service that is financially strong and consistently delivers on-time across Oklahoma and America. In the short time since its launch, and under the leadership of Postmaster General Louis DeJoy, the Postal Service has made great progress on its four key pillars: Investing in its people, modernizing its network, providing service excellence, and creating financial sustainability.

“It is a great honor to serve as the Postmaster of Osceola during this pivotal time in the Postal Service. I look forward to the opportunity to provide excellent mail service to the residents and businesses of this great community,” said Jackson.

Jackson has three children who all participate in sports and keep her very busy outside of her Postmaster duties.
