Concord, AR Post Office Date Meets ZIP postmark

What:

On Tuesday, July 25, 2023, the city of Concord, AR, will experience an event that occurs only once a century. It is called Date Meets ZIP when the date of 7-25-23 will match the community’s ZIP Code of 72523.  This rare occurrence will be recognized by a special postmark.

When:

A special stamp cancellation will be available for 30 days beginning Tuesday, July 25, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Background:

The possibility of having a Date Meets ZIP is quite rare.  It only comes around once every 100 years and, for most post offices, this never occurs at all.

Residents and businesses are welcome to bring their own postcards or envelopes, or purchase items from the Concord Post Office and have it stamped with the commemorative postmark to remember this special once-in-a-lifetime occasion.
