Jason enjoys hiking and the great outdoors and is proud to have achieved his long-time goal of serving as the Grand Canyon Postmaster.
The Grand Canyon Post Office is one of only three full-service post offices located in a national park. Delivery at the Grand Canyon is completed by P.O. Box, caller service and general delivery. The general delivery service is especially useful to park visitors who do not hold a permanent residence. A common practice among Grand Canyon visitors is sending themselves supplies prior to their visit to the Grand Canyon.
“All a traveler needs to do is write their name, general delivery, Grand Canyon, AZ 86023-9999. The uniqueness of this delivery shows the extraordinary commitment of the Postal Service to this nation,” said Davis. “We go everywhere, serving all of America and I’m proud to be part of USPS.”
The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products, and services to fund its operations.
