USPS Hosts Avondale Job Fair

Multiple Positions Available to Fill Immediate Openings

The Postal Service is hosting a job fair this week at the American Legion Post 61 in Avondale to fill immediate openings for mail handlers, letter carriers, retail associates, maintenance mechanics, and automotive technicians.

USPS Job Fair at the American Legion Post 61:

When: Saturday, Jan. 28 from 10:00 a.m. through 1:00 p.m.
Where: American Legion Post 61
        35 N Dysart Rd
        Avondale, AZ 85323

To assist potential applicants, USPS personnel will be on-site to provide detailed information about the positions, answer questions, and walk future employees through the application process step by step. Starting pay ranges from $19 to $25 per hour depending on the position. Automotive technician jobs are career positions with a starting salary of $60,409 annually. Maintenance mechanic jobs are also career positions with a starting annual salary of $52,691. All positions come with paid time off, holiday pay and health care benefits.
