The U.S. Postal Service is sending out a postcard for the Marana Post Office located at 13355 N Lon Adams Rd., Marana AZ 85653-9998.

Background:

Due to the space deficiency of the current facility, the Postal Service is considering a possible relocation. The Postal Service is now looking to relocate retail services to a yet-to-be-determined location within the zip codes of 85653 with the desire to be as close as possible to the current Post Office. Postal Service will be looking for one of the following: a) expand the current facility if Postal Service is able to secure vacant land of approximately 50,000 SF surrounding the Post Office, b) keep retail in the current location and relocate carriers to about 10,500 SF with 48+ parking, c) relocate into and existing building that is about 14,200 SF with 68+ parking or d) purchase land of approximately 100,000 SF for Postal Service to build a new Post Office.

The relocation project will consist of procuring a suitable substitute location, as close as reasonably possible to the existing location. Retail Services will continue at the current location until all necessary preparations are completed at the new location.
