With Summer days getting shorter and winding down to Autumn, The Postal Service is ramping up hiring in the greater Phoenix and West Valley area and throughout Arizona. We have a variety of positions available from letter carriers to processing clerks to mechanics. The Postal Service is looking to hire more than 200 mail handler assistants (processing), automotive mechanics, tractor trailer operators, electronics technicians, and custodial positions for the Arizona Regional Processing and Distribution Center located in Avondale. To facilitate that growth, USPS is hosting a series of hiring events at the West Valley Parcel Sorting Annex in Tolleson.

To assist potential applicants, USPS personnel will be on-site to provide detailed information about the positions, answer questions, and help potential candidates through the application process step by step. Starting pay ranges from $18 to $25 per hour depending on the position.
