CASA GRANDE, AZ – Joe A. Gomez was recently named as Postmaster for Casa Grande, AZ, continuing a long line of service to the community since a Post Office was established in 1880.

Gomez began his postal career in 2016 as a city carrier in California. He later moved to Scottsdale, AZ, where he continued his career a letter carrier. In 2021, he was promoted to a supervisor position in Tempe and also served as the acting manager of the station.

He is excited to take the position in Casa Grande and looks forward to being a part of the community and upholding Postal Service’s commitment to Delivering for America.  

“I take the Postmaster position as the highest responsibility. It comes with the responsibility to be a great leader for my employees and the best customer service for my customers,” Gomez said. “I want to improve the image of the Casa Grande Post Office with the community and make it the best delivery service”

Gomez lives in nearby Maricopa where he enjoys off-roading, camping, fitness, and helping the community with food drives.

Gomez manages more than 60 employees and oversees 35 routes serving approximately 67,000 residents. Casa Grande Post Office also offers passport and photo services by appointment.

The Casa Grande Post Office is located at 1670 N Pinal Ave, Cas Grande, AZ. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm; Saturday 9 am – 1 pm; and closed Sunday.
