BUTTE COUNTY, CA — The Magalia Post Office and Stirling City Post Office have resumed business operations because it has been deemed safe to reoccupy the buildings after the Camp Fires. All Post Office Box customers can retrieve their mail from their respective post offices. Both locations have limited retail service until Internet service is restored.
Magalia Post Office, 141 Skyway, Magalia, CA 95954
Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Stirling City Post Office, 16939 Skyway, Stirling City, CA 95978
Hours: Monday to Friday 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
NOTE: For customers who get mail delivery out of the Magalia Post Office, we are only able to deliver South of Jack Pine Way / Steiffer Road, North of Perry Road, East of Nishew Road and West of Little Butte Creek.
All other mail for the Magalia delivery area can still be picked up at the Chico Midtown Post Office, 141 W. Fifth St., Chico, CA 95928. Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Customers must provide identification to pick up mail.
The Postal Service wants to thank all our customers for their patience during this period of disruption caused by the wildfires in the area.
