CARLSBAD, CA — Post Office Box operations for Carlsbad Post Office will begin transitioning back to the 2772 Roosevelt Street facility and will be fully implemented by Saturday, December 22.

The Post Office Box lobby will be open 24 hours.  Parcel pick up for P.O. Box customers will also be available at the Carlsbad Post Office, Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Caller service pick up will remain at the La Costa Station until further notice. Bulk mail customers are asked to continue to make drop offs at La Costa as well.
While carrier operations remain temporarily off site, there is no impact to home and business deliveries.

Operations at the Carlsbad Post Office were temporarily suspended earlier this month due to a partial roof collapse caused during a heavy rainstorm.

We apologize for the inconvenience our customers have incurred. Our top priority is a high standard of service as well as the safety and well-being of our customers and employees. We hope to have the Carlsbad Post Office reopened and fully operational again as soon as possible.
