Background:

In support of National Consumer Protection Week, the United States Postal Inspection Service and Long Beach Post Office are partnering to provide consumers with an opportunity to have their documents shredded on site for FREE (2 letter/legal storage box or 2 cubic feet limit).  U.S. Postal Inspectors will also be available to provide fraud prevention material.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
