LOS ANGELES — Customers who want the safety and security of the U.S. Mail to submit personal data contained on tax documents must have the envelopes postmarked on or before April 15, 2019, to avoid late penalties.
Several postal processing & distribution centers (P&DC) will be extending mail collection service on April 15 to accommodate last-minute tax filers. Mail being dropped must already have postage applied.
