IONE, CA — The Ione Post Office, located 22 Main St., has been temporarily closed after a fire damaged a business in the upper level of the building.

Until further notice, Post Office Box customers can pick up their mail at the Jackson Post Office, 424 Sutter St., in Jackson, CA 95642. Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday; 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday. Customers are reminded to bring proper photo ID for mail and package pickups.

All other mail will be delivered as usual.

We apologize for this inconvenience to our customers and hope to have the offices reopened and fully operational again as soon as possible.
