Jeremie Six takes Oath of Office as Laguna Beach Postmaster

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — On Thursday, Nov. 7, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., Jeremie Six will follow a proud tradition that dates back to 1945 when Mr. Baird Coffin was appointed as the first Postmaster of Laguna Beach.  

Six will raise his right hand to be sworn in as the eleventh Postmaster at the Laguna Beach Post Office, 29911 Niguel Road, Laguna Niguel, CA 92677.

In 2013, Six began his postal career as a city carrier assistant in San Clemente, CA.  He worked as Supervisor Customer Service in Laguna Hills Post Office in 2015.  He was promoted and worked as Manager Customer Services at Aliso Viejo Post Office in January 2019.

“I will lead my employees in providing world-class service and experience for all customers,” said Six. “I would like to accomplish sustainability and growth for the USPS and become a pioneer for how the Postal Service will be relevant for the next 30 years.”

Six and his fiancé, Casey, and their children Arwen, Kaelynn, Sophie and Benjamin reside in Laguna Niguel.  He enjoys beach days with his family surfing, hiking, traveling and watching University of Michigan football.

As Postmaster, he manages all operations at the Laguna Beach Post Office with a total of 134 city routes, delivering to 90,124 addresses and 6,500 Post Office Boxes.  He manages 254 employees who process, distribute, and deliver an average of 300,000 pieces of mail and 4,500 packages daily.

Operations Support Manager Robert Swanson will administer the official oath of office.  Six replaces Areerut Jitratanajinda who relocated to another post office.
