Public Meeting September 30 on Proposed Relocation of Woodland Midtown Station Post Office

WOODLAND, CA — The United States Postal Service is considering relocating the retail services currently provided at Woodland Midtown Station Post Office located at 108 W. Main Street, Woodland, CA 95695 to a yet to-be-determined location as close as reasonably possible to the existing location.

The Postal Service is considering relocation because it has outgrown the facility. The new facility will accommodate Woodland Midtown Station retail and letter carriers, as well as the relocation of some of the letter carriers currently working out of the Woodland Main Post Office located at 720 Court Street, Woodland, CA 95695.

The relocation project will consist of procuring a suitable substitute location, preparing the new location for use as a post office and then transitioning the retail services to the new location. The Postal Service has not identified any suitable replacement locations at this time. There would be no impact to delivery operations or mail service.

A public meeting will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at the Woodland Midtown Station Post Office, 108 W. Main Street, Woodland, CA 95695.

At the public meeting, the Postal Service will outline the proposal to meet the need for relocation, invite questions and solicit written input on the proposal.
