SAN SIMEON, CA — On August 5, 2019, the United States Postal Service held a public meeting to discuss the possible relocation of the San Simeon Main Post Office, located at 444 Slo San Simeon Road, San Simeon, CA 93452. After having carefully considered all the concerns expressed in those discussions, as well as in appeals and comments received after the public meeting, the United States Postal Service has decided to proceed with the proposal. The United States Postal Service has identified 250 San Simeon Avenue, Suite 7A as its preferred new location.
The last day for customers to pick up their P.O. Box mail at the current location will be Saturday, September 26, 2020. However, temporary Cluster Box Units will remain in place at the former location until Saturday, October 10, 2020 for final mail pick up.
All retail and P.O. Box services will resume for business on Monday, September 28, 2020 at the new facility located at 250 San Simeon Avenue, Suite 7A, San Simeon, CA 93452. Each P.O. Box customer will retain their same box number. All P.O. Box customers will be issued a new key however to accommodate the new P.O. Box units installed. All customers are encouraged to visit the new facility to pick up their new P.O. Box key.
P.O. Box Lobby Hours will be available 24 hours a day. Retail Hours: 11:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Friday.
