Postal Service to close two Post Offices early due to possible civil event

Temporary action the result of precautionary security measures

SACRAMENTO, CA — Due to the potential for a civil event on Saturday, January 16, 2021, two Post Office lobby locations will close early.

The following postal facilities will close lobby access at 10:00 am on Saturday, January 16, 2021:

  • Downtown Plaza Post Office, 660 J Street, Suite 170, Sacramento, CA 95814

           Retail Hours for Downtown Plaza: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday-Friday.

  • Civic Center Fresno Post Office, 855 M Street, Suite 190, Fresno, CA 93721

Retail Hours for Civic Center: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday-Friday
