WEAVERVILLE, CA — Mandatory evacuations caused by fast moving wildfires in the local area have resulted in the temporary closure of the Big Bar Post Office.

Customers normally served by the Big Bar Post Office, 27761 State Highway 299, Big Bar, CA 96010 are directed to go to the Weaverville Post Office, located at, 50 S Miner St., Weaverville, CA 96093.

Hours for pick-up are Mon-Fri 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m., Sat. 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Customers are instructed to provide photo ID for mail pick-up.
