USPS participates at the Job and Career Fair in Alhambra

Looking to fill hundreds of clerk and carrier positions

ALHAMBRA, CA — USPS personnel will be on-hand at the 10th Annual  Asian American Economic Development Enterprises Inc. Job and Career Fair.  Learn what employment with the Postal Service can offer.

The free job fair will be a walk in and recruiters will provide information on how to navigate the www.usps.com/careers online application process. Social distancing will be enforced and masks will be required.

DATE and TIME:  August 20, 2021, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

We are recruiting for all positions including city carrier assistant (CCA), rural carrier associate (RCA), assistant rural carrier (ARC), mail handler assistant (MHA), Postal support employee mail processing clerk (PSE), maintenance mechanic, auto mechanic and tractor trailer operator (TTO).

Newly hired employees are covered by the Federal Employees Retirement System, can contribute to the Thrift Savings Plan and can enroll in the Federal Employees Health Benefits program.

The employee will be required to work Saturdays, Sundays, weekdays and holidays as needed.

If driving is part of the job, applicants must have a valid state driver’s license, a safe driving record, and at least two years of documented driving experience.

To be considered for the positions, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or High School graduate.
  • Must be US Citizen or have permanent resident alien status.

The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
